Coruscant Deltof Diorama
I’ve been commissioned to build a deltof size Star Wars diorama.

Building the Diorama
The dimensions are 25 cm x 29 cm x 23 cm. This is a two piece diorama, made from foam board, the wall and base I’ve used 20 mm foam board, the wall I have layered a piece of 10 mm over the top then used pieces of 6 mm foam board for wall detail. I’ve carved in details into the base and wall and now this piece is ready to paint.
Painting the Diorama
I have base coated with a black spray and once this has dried I will start adding metallic grey to match the look of Coruscant.
Work is almost done on this piece. After base coating the entire piece with a metallic grey, I then painted certain areas with metallic blue and the door and one floor panel with GW Ironbreaker. I used a black wash to paint in between the floor and wall panels, over the door and in the crevasses. The accessories I printed, have been painted with GW leadbelcher, washed over and then dry brushed with chrome.
My next steps is to add some colour to the accessories and then this piece will be finished.
I’ve painted the accessories so they no longer looked completely metallic grey. As soon as my client gives the OK, this is ready to ship out to him.
