Mandalorian Display

I’ve been commissioned to create another Star Wars display diorama for a clients Mandalorian Black Series 6″ figure.

Building the Scene

It’s measurements are 9″x 12″x 6″, made entirely out of foam board, I’ve glued the strips on the wall using PVA glue. When it’s dried, I’ll cut off the excess and sand it down before gluing all together and then paint it.

 

Painting the Scene

After cutting off the excess, sanding it down and gluing the pieces together. Using the same mixture I used for other recent Star Wars pieces, I have coated this piece with the sand/filler/paint mixture.

 

While this one is still drying, I’ve whipped up two more.

 

Now all three have dried, I’ve washed the floors and added the wash into the crevasses of the walls. To dirty up the walls I have dry brushed the walls with the wash.
